Heartland leaders react to new Jeffrey Epstein emails that mention Donald Trump
On Wednesday, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released emails that suggest President Donald Trump was directly involved with Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes with underage girls, despite him saying otherwise.
One email written by Epstein in 2011 reads, “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump… [redacted victim name] spent hours at my house with him… he has never once been mentioned. Police chief etc. im 75% there.”
🚨BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.
Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES. pic.twitter.com/A5XgOHj2Jq

Another email details an incident where Trump allegedly walked into a glass door while “young women were swimming in the pool.”

The emails clash with Trump’s claims that he had no knowledge or involvement in Epstein’s sex trafficking.
High-profile lawmakers and Democratic candidates across the Midwest and Heartland have reacted to the new information, with many reupping their calls for the full release of the Epstein files.
The Epstein emails call Trump the “dog that hasn’t barked.” He’s silent because he knows what’s inside. It’s time to release the files. https://t.co/mRxnY9ghQg

.@VivekGRamaswamy has proven himself to be someone who looks the other way when victims need leaders to stand up. “We’re fighting corruption and no one will be spared,” he said. And now…total silence.
As a mother and a survivor of abuse, I’m once again urging the release of… https://t.co/2YoazrHuO5

This is just gross and Derrick Van Orden is part of the cover up.

The public deserves to know who enabled Epstein, who looked the other way, and who’s still being protected.
Survivors have waited long enough.
Release the Epstein files NOW. https://t.co/OdcliUcUs9

The U.S. House is set to vote on the deal to reopen the government Wednesday evening. Before the vote, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R) will swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ), who has pledged to sign on as the last vote needed to force a vote to release the full Epstein files.
Reports suggest Trump has been in contact with several Republican lawmakers who have signed on to the discharge petition to release the files, including Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Nancy Mace (R-SC).
Trump himself called Boebert, regarding her signing onto the Epstein petition and spoke to her yesterday, I am told.

So far, they are not planning to remove their names from the petition.
