Now in its third year of powerful, thought-provoking broadcasting, The Lightning Strike Radio Show has become a Sunday morning staple for Chicagoland listeners and audiences nationwide. Recently expanding from one hour to two hours (8–10 AM CT), the show continues to raise the bar with sharp conversations, diverse perspectives, and fearless dialogue on the issues shaping our communities and our nation.
Hosted by Mohammed Faheem, a longtime community activist, volunteer, and leader, The Lightning Strike delivers a unique blend of voices and ideas—bridging both conservative and progressive viewpoints in ways rarely found elsewhere. Together with his talented radio crew, Faheem explores pressing local and national issues, offering listeners not just commentary but a seat at the table.

About the Host
With a Master’s degree in Communication and Journalism, Mohammed Faheem is a nationally known talk show host, motivational speaker and workforce development professional with decades of leadership in community service, business consulting and economic development. He has successfully launched and managed multiple for-profit and nonprofit ventures spanning workforce development, construction, web development, community engagement and business consulting.
Over the last 25+ years, Faheem has pioneered nationally recognized employment programs serving veterans, at-risk youth, job seekers of all ages, and reentry populations. His initiatives have been celebrated as “best practices” in workforce development, while his work in bridging education and industry has included conferences, roundtables, and the launch of the Midwest Reshoring initiative with Harry Moser.
His public service has been commended by two U.S. presidents, the U.S. Congress, and numerous regional and national organizations.
