About the show
“The Valley Labor Report” is a weekly radio program originating from WVNN Alabama. Hosts Adam Keller and Jacob Morrison cover local, state, and national news (with an emphasis on the former two), as well as trying to dig deep into important issues from a left/labor perspective. Our goal is, chiefly, to educate the audience about the power that workers can have through organizing and solidarity.
About the hosts
Adam Keller is the Worker Power Campaign Director for Alabama Arise, a statewide nonprofit progressive advocacy coalition that recently unionized with the Communication Workers of America (CWA) Local 3908, a union stagehand (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Local 900), a former educator, and longtime labor organizer.
Jacob Morrison is a member of the American Federation of Government Employees Local 1858, and President of the North Alabama Area Labor Council, AFL-CIO – the youngest labor federation president in the country.
