Minnesota state Rep. Kristin Robbins (R-Maple Grove), a potential U.S. Senate candidate in 2026, has deleted a series of X posts that voiced her support for former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley.

During an interview with “The Break Down with Brodkorb and Becky” from February 2024, Robbins was directly asked why she though it was important for her to be a vocal supporter of Haley’s presidential campaign. In response, Robbins said she never shies away from telling voters what she thinks.

“First of all, it’s what I think, and I never shy away from telling voters what I think and then the voters will decide if they want me or not,” Robbins said. “And I totally respect my voters, but I’m not going to hide from them that I’m a supporter of Nikki Haley.”

Robbins has publicly confirmed that she is considering a U.S. Senate run next year. Robbins expressed her interest after incumbent Sen. Tina Smith (D) announced that she will not seek reelection next year.

Despite pledging to not hide her support of Haley, Robbins has seemingly scrubbed her X account of pro-Haley content. Posts celebrating Haley’s campaign announcement, strong poll numbers, Haley winning Washington D.C. and a tweet criticizing a pro-Trump RNC resolution have all been deleted.

Robbins’ office did not respond to an inquiry asking why the posts were deleted. Many federal Republicans rely on endorsements from Trump to succeed in their respective primary elections.

Robbins was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives in 2018 and currently serves as the chair of the Fraud and Prevention and State Agency Oversight Policy Committee. The committee was created after the Minnesota Republicans attempted a power grab at the beginning of the 2025 legislative session.
