Nebraska Supreme Court rules voter data case is moot because feds already have records

Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen already handed over the state’s voter data to the federal government. Now, the Nebraska Supreme Court has dismissed a lawsuit trying to stop the transfer, ruling the case is moot because the records are already gone. Voting rights groups say the fight now moves to the legislature to protect voter privacy.
