A Georgia judge ruled on Wednesday that Brian K. Pritchard, the vice chairman of the state’s Republican Party, voted illegally nine times prior to spreading false claims that there was widespread voter fraud during the 2020 elections.

Pritchard’s election law violations reportedly occurred in 2008, while he was still serving probation for a felony check forging sentence that he plead guilty to in 1996. As a talk show host for the conservative news network Fetch Your News, Pritchard has repeatedly spread former President Donald Trump’s false claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

Pritchard could be subject fines up to $5,000 for each instance of illegal voting.
