Last Saturday’s “No Kings” rallies garnered an estimated 7 million people to rally against President Donald Trump and his administration’s monarch-like control of power. Much of the attention has been on the largest rallies in cities like New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C. and San Francisco.

But with over 2,700 rallies across the nation, many people and local news media documented the smaller ones that brought people together in smaller cities and towns. Some smaller towns, like Colby, Wis. saw a large amount of protesters despite being in Republican strongholds. And Some photos and videos of these across the Heartland are shown below.

Pictures from today’s No Kings protest in Colby Kansas! We had around 60 people which might not sound like a lot but we are a rural Northwest Kansas town. On a side note the previous No Kings protest there were a small group of counter protesters and there were zero at this one.

I’m helping to coordinate medics in the big Madison protest this afternoon. But my son really wanted to protest, so I took him to the No Kings event in the adjacent small town of Monona Wisconsin. I was expecting about 30 people, but probably a solid 300 showed up.
