During a campaign event on Thursday, Pennsylvania Senate candidate David McCormick openly acknowledged his extensive record of business dealings in China, a major weakness of his campaign.

“He’ll [Sen. Bob Casey (D)] ignore the serious ideas we’ve discussed today,” McCormick contended. “He’s going to say, ‘McCormick himself did business in China.’ He’s going to say, ‘Bridgewater did business in China.’ And it did. These attacks are predictable.”

In addition to putting millions of dollars into Chinese investments, McCormick taught other companies how to outsource jobs overseas.

McCormick ran for the Senate in 2022 but lost the Republican primary to Dr. Mehmet Oz, who secured an endorsement from former President Donald Trump before losing to Democrat John Fetterman in the general election.
