Pennsylvania Senate candidate David McCormick launched a 67-county bus tour last Saturday, where he pledged to live on his tour bus for the next nine months.

But according to a report by the Philadelphia Inquirer, he took a flight later that day to visit the $16 million mansion he rents in Connecticut’s Gold Coast.

Since McCormick launched his second U.S. Senate bid in September, he has struggled to shed the carpetbagger criticisms that also plagued his former primary opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz. In addition to the Connecticut mansion, McCormick also owns property in Colorado, Dallas, Pittsburgh and a family farm in Bloomsburg, Pa.

McCormick will likely be visiting Pennsylvania towns like Bethlehem, a town that saw hundreds of jobs outsourced overseas by Wells Fargo. McCormick made millions by investing in companies like Wells Fargo and others who outsourced thousands of Pennsylvania jobs. While he was the CEO of the global software company FreeMarkets, McCormick also taught other companies how to outsource jobs.
