Earlier this week, The Daily Beast released a bombshell report that anti-abortion Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker (R) suggested and paid for his girlfriend’s abortion in 2009.
Throughout his campaign, Walker has leaned heavily on anti-abortion ideas and advocated for a total ban with no exceptions for rape or incest.
“There’s no exception in my mind,” Walker is on the record of saying. “Like I say, I believe in life. I believe in life.”
Despite the allegations, Walker indicated that he did not know the identity of this woman and that “he sends money to a lot of people.” During an appearance on Fox News on Wednesday, Walker specifically denied knowing the identity of this woman.
“Uh, not at all,” Walker responded when asked if he figured out who the woman is. “That’s what I hope everyone can see. It’s sort of like everyone is anonymous and everyone leaking. They want you to confess to something you have no clue about.”
However, a new report from The Daily Beast states that this mystery woman is also the mother of one of Walker’s several out-of-wedlock children. It seems he should know the identity of the woman he had this child with, especially because he claimed that his previously undisclosed children were not a secret.
Walker also said Thursday on “The Hugh Hewitt Show” that if the incident did occur, he would have been open about it already. He walked back the comments the same day at a press gaggle. Walker also failed to mention that he confirmed he had a child with this same woman to The Daily Beast in June.
After the initial report by The Daily Beast came out on Monday, Walker’s son Christian — a conservative commentator and social media influencer — took to Twitter and TikTok to lambast his father for his constant lies and the damage he says his father has inflicted on him and his mother.
“Family values, people. He has four kids, four different women and wasn’t in the house raising one of them,” Christian Walker insisted. “He was out having sex with other women.”

This was the first time Christian Walker publicly criticized his father after supporting his campaign initially. Now, conservative outlets are targeting Christian Walker instead, with one reporter from the RedState calling him a “mouthy, ungrateful little punk trying to parlay his cruel attacks on his father into some sort of social media grift.
In addition to constant scandals, including allegedly threatening to kill his wife years ago, Walker has made some of the biggest gaffes in the entire 2022 election cycle. This was showcased during a speech where he attempted to explain how air works, and another time where he implied that there are 52 states in the U.S.
Recent polling suggests that Herschel Walker’s opponent, incumbent Democratic Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock, has opened a double-digit lead on the former football player.
